The Ethereum Foundation is a non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting Ethereum and related technologies. Project Odin is one of EF's Funding Coordination initiatives.

Funding Coordination

The Funding Coordination team works to ensure that the most strategically important open-source teams in the Ethereum ecosystem have the operational and financial resilience to keep shipping over multiple funding cycles. The team oversees Project Odin and related initiatives aimed at the long-term health of Ethereum's public-goods landscape.

The team's high-level goals are:

  1. Increase the total net funding for public-goods infrastructure in Ethereum.

  2. Reduce public-goods projects' dependency on the Ethereum Foundation as a primary funding source.
